GiftList 2.5: Smarter Budgets and Helpful Reminders

I’m excited to share GiftList 2.5, an update focused on helping you stay on top of spending and important dates.

Keep your spending on track

Budgets are now easier to understand within your events.

Set an overall event budget, track what you’ve spent, see how much remains, and get a clear warning if you go over. You can also view a recipient-by-recipient spending breakdown to better understand where your budget is going.

Never miss an important date

GiftList 2.5 introduces customizable event reminders. Set one-time reminders ahead of an event or create repeating reminders to keep planning on your radar.

Reminder settings sync across your devices, and privacy controls let you choose whether event names appear in notifications.

Refinements to event planning

I’ve made a number of smaller improvements to event details, making it easier to review recipients, add gifts, and manage your plans.

More reliable, more polished

This release includes improvements to iCloud syncing, data reliability, accessibility, and overall performance.

GiftList now requires iOS 18 or later.

Free users will now see occasional ads showcasing apps from other independent developers. I hope they help you discover something new you’ll enjoy. GiftList Pro remains ad-free.
