Introducing Cue: Your Media, Your Servers

Cue Home, Downloads and series details on two iPhones and an iPad

Today I’m happy to introduce Cue, my new native media player for iPhone and iPad, now available on the App Store. Cue brings movies and shows from your Jellyfin server into one app for browsing, watching and downloading.

This first release is just the beginning. I have many new features planned, and this is the first of many updates to come.

Your media, in one familiar place

Cue is built around your own media. Connect to your Jellyfin server, browse your movie and television libraries, and pick up where you left off with Continue Watching and Next Up.

Search helps you find something to watch, while series, season and episode details keep everything easy to explore. Playback uses Apple’s native player, with AirPlay and Picture in Picture support.

You can also download movies and episodes to keep favourites ready when your server or internet connection is out of reach.

More ways to watch with Cue Pro

Cue is free to download. Cue Pro adds multiple server connections, unlimited downloads, streaming and download quality controls, and Smart Downloads for your next episodes.

Cue Pro costs £12.99 per year or £1.99 per month. Prices may vary by region.

The first of many updates

Launching Cue is a starting point. I plan to keep building on this release with many new features, improvements and refinements, and I’ll share more about what’s coming in future updates.

Your feedback will help shape where Cue goes next. If there’s something you’d love to see, or something that could work better, I’d like to hear about it. You can get in touch through Cue support.

Thank you to everyone who tried the TestFlight builds and shared feedback, and to everyone giving Cue a try at launch.

Try Cue

Cue requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 and access to a Jellyfin server.
